The Aging & Disability Resource Center (ADRC) of Tarrant County is a program that works to help older adults, people with disabilities and their families get help through a collaboration of more than three dozen long-term social service, government agencies, and nonprofit groups. The ADRC is especially helpful in assisting someone who has multiple needs and may need help from multiple agencies. The goal is to connect people as quickly and easily as possible with what is needed. Resource Coaches at the ADRC provide extensive and ongoing training and cross-training on issues and resources for people who are aging or have a disability, and their families. Resource Coaches can provide help over the phone and in person and follow the consumer through the ADRC services.
